Frequently Asked Questions
BS 7671 recommends a maximum interval of 3 years for industrial premises (compared to 5 years for domestic). High-risk environments may require more frequent inspection.
Partial shutdowns are usually required for testing. We plan the inspection to minimise production impact, often testing individual sections in sequence.
Both. Fixed electrical installations are inspected to BS 7671. Machine electrical equipment is inspected with reference to BS EN 60204-1.
