Whether your home has ageing rubber or fabric wiring, you're extending a property or building from scratch, FACE Electrical Ltd carry out full and partial electrical rewires to the current 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations. All rewiring work is notified to building control via our NAPIT competent person scheme and comes with a full Electrical Installation Certificate.

Full survey and detailed written quotation

Removal of all old wiring
All existing cables, accessories and old consumer units are safely removed and disposed of correctly.
New cables throughout in twin-and-earth or SWA
We install new PVC or LSZH cabling in all required routes, chased in or surface-run to suit the property.
New consumer unit with RCD & AFDD protection
Your new fuse board will include RCD protection on all circuits and Arc Fault Detection Devices where required.
All accessories fitted and circuits tested
Every socket, switch and light fitting is fitted and individually tested before handover. You receive a full EIC certificate.

Not necessarily. We can phase the work to keep sections of the property live. However, for a full rewire, many customers prefer to stay elsewhere — we can advise on the most practical approach.
We carry out neat, minimal chasing and make good any damage to a paint-ready finish. Decorating is then the customer's responsibility unless separately agreed.
The cost of rewiring is usually not covered by home insurance (it's a maintenance item), but many insurers require evidence that wiring is safe. Contact your insurer for their specific requirements.
